Deleting your account
If you have an account, you can delete it yourself from your account page. If you booked without an account, write to us from the email address you booked with and we do the same for you. Deletion removes your sign-in and takes your name, phone number and email address off every past booking, together with the pickup and drop-off addresses, the flight numbers and the notes and special requests you left. The messages you sent to our support, and our replies, are emptied. It cannot be undone.
A booking that is still coming up has to be cancelled before the account can be deleted, because a chauffeur would otherwise be sent to a passenger we can no longer reach.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, or destruction. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When determining retention periods, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process the data, and applicable legal requirements.
When you delete your account, the booking records themselves stay in our books for as long as invoicing and tax law require, but without the person: your name, phone number, email address, the addresses, the flight numbers and the notes and special requests you left are removed or replaced. What stays includes the date, the price, the status and the booking reference. Emails we sent you are kept as a log of the fact that they were sent, addressed the same way. Payments are handled by Stripe, whose own retention rules apply to card data we never see.
